Seneca Fashion Show
We are thrilled to share the success of the recent Seneca Niagara Fashion Show, held on the original homelands of the Seneca Nation of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. This event was not only a celebration of fashion but a powerful expression of Native American culture and creativity. Creator’s Favorite was happy to attend in support of K.Lookinghorse and Kreations by Kehala - a partnership stemming from their collaboration at New York Fashion Week 2024.
With fashion designs from across Turtle Island, the show showcased the talent and vision of designers from diverse Native American backgrounds, each bringing their unique perspectives and stories to the runway. The vibrant styles and intricate designs were a testament to the rich traditions and modern innovations; with contemporary and modernized ribbon skirts showcased by Bitterwater for Redhouse and Kreations by Kehala.
The Seneca Niagara Fashion Show opened with a market of notable sponsors and brands that celebrate Indigenous creatives. Cheekbone Beauty’s Founder, Jenn Harper, was setup with her line of luxury, sustainable cosmetics alongside N8iV Beauty’s sustainable skincare line. Indigenous cosmetics curated to support a talented lineup of Indigenous Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists like Israel Garcia and Jacy Boots Francis. Each piece of the production was so uniquely special to celebrate the talent of Indigenous communities.
Models spotted from across Turtle Island were celebrated on the runway - A’ngelee, Destiney Gabriel, Margaret Faliano, Ryan Breezy, and many others. Their participation, along with the creativity of designers and the energy of the crowd, made this year's fashion show an unforgettable experience. This show will anniversary another in 2025 and we cannot wait to see more!
